Generally, we prefer to explore the potential of a Coaching or Management relationship with our clients during an initial discovery meeting.  It is important to understand the goals of the individual and organization before deciding what fits best for them.  We must also take into account time availability and budget into creating a solution.  That being said we wanted to outline some of our common solutions here, as to create a framework and to allow the exploration of possibilities.  If you have more questions or are interested in moving forward please contact us or complete the contact form on our contact page of the website.

Individual Coaching

  • The Coach works with an individual and focuses on achieving the coaching goals agreed upon
  • This can work well when the individual is responsible for hiring the coach or has asked for the coach
  • Process can add accountability and development opportunities
  • Often done through on-one-one coaching calls at regular intervals
  • Coach and Coachee contribute to the agenda and goals
  • Great for those who want to improve their abilities or take it to a new level of success
  • Sales training can be part of the program but done in an ongoing, reinforced format
  • This may be a fit for sales people, managers or owners who are looking for coaching

Managed Coaching

  • The Coach works with an individual but has separate sessions with the Manager of that individual to set goals and guidelines for coaching
  • Best in situations where an individual has been identified as needing to improve for either developmental or performance reasons
  • Fast tracks new employee while maintaining the goals and culture of the organization
  • Coaching is largely done with regular scheduled one on one calls
  • Can provide Sales training as part of the program that focuses on the key developmental areas of the employee rather than a broad based training target
  • Travel time on sales calls with the individual can also be part of the package or arranged as needed

Sales Leadership Coach

  • The Coach works with a Sales Manager or Owner to enhance their Sales Leadership
  • Sessions can focus on developing sales management tools, performance management skills, coaching skills and building strong sales teams
  • It provides an opportunity to have an idea partner.  This will be a sounding board or think tank where ideas can be vetted and developed
  • It works well for those who may be new to sales management or those who want to keep their skills sharp
  • The Coach can provide accountability for the owner or manager
  • In smaller sales departments this prevents the owner or manager from having to “go it alone”
  • New material is introduced in a format that is more effective than Sales Manager training
  • The Sales Manager will become a better leader and their team excel!

Coach in Residence

  •  Coach provides coaching to the entire team or business.  This may include both management and Sales team
  • Coach works deeper in the business and is available for more day to day discussions
  • Focused on sales effectiveness and development
  • May be a part of meetings and contribute to the overall leadership and strategy
  • Sold as a weekly time commitment
  • May compliment deal coaching and margin management done in house by the organization
  • Brings training more in house and is kept ongoing
  • May be tasked with building a new approach or culture
  • Works closely with Ownership and Management

Sales Management

  • More than coaching.
  • For organizations that have a sales team but are not large enough, or the sales department is not large enough, to hire a full time Sales Manager
  • Coach provides coaching and sales leadership for the entire team
  • Focused on accountability and development
  • May meet with key clients and be part of the overall leadership and strategy
  • Sold as a time commitment
  • May be a temporary solution or longer term
  • Brings training more in house
  • May be tasked with building a professional sales team
  • Works closely with Ownership and Management

Executive Coaching

  • Delivered in Partnership with Executive Impact
  • Coach works with Senior Leadership or key future leaders
  • Provides structure that ensures Vision, Planning, Metrics and Accountability thrive in the business
  • Delivery starts with an assessment that highlights areas of focus and a coaching plan is built from there
  • This offering can work well with Sales Coaching options as a strong business overall will enable sales to be effective
  • This offering is for the overall business vitality and comes with a high level of accountability and the need for dedication to the process
